Support Sheridan's Equitation World Cup Dream

Hi, I am Sheridan Cortazar, and I will be representing the United States of America in the Equitation World Cup 2024. I have been fortunate enough to grow up around horses, and riding has been a significant part of my everyday life. Competing on the Mundial has been my dream since I was six years old. One of my main goals in riding is to continuously improve by learning from these horses and the experiences I share with them. Through these interactions, I embrace the potential that God has bestowed upon me and embody the passion that runs in my bloodline. This passion began with my great-grandfather and has been passed down through each generation, now seen in me. Therefore, my primary purpose in competing in this prestigious competition is to hold my banners high for God, myself, my family, and the country I represent.

I aspire to be an example to the kids in the riding community and to future generations in my family, showing them that they can achieve whatever they want if they work hard, never give up, and believe in themselves wholeheartedly, as I have done to achieve this goal. I know that with God’s help and your support, I will be able to compete in the World Cup.

I want to give my best and perform at a level that will make my family and community proud. Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to God, to this amazing country that has opened its doors to me, and to all the people who have helped me along the way on this incredible journey.
