Support Sheri’s Cancer Fight

Our family received unexpected news on August 11th when my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in a routine check up. She has an extremely aggressive cancer called HER2+. She has had 2 MRIs, 2 biopsies, ultrasounds & ct scans. On Nov 16th she went under for a 6.5 hour surgery to have a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery. She was told shortly after recovering from surgery that due to the aggressive cancer she needs Chemotherapy. She will do 12 cycles of chemotherapy and 9 months of a preventative treatment. Due to all of this my mother is not able to work & needs all the help she can get to support her in this time. She is currently getting weaker and is in her 5th round of chemo. Today she shaved her head as she was losing a lot of hair. As many of you know my mom is an amazing woman and we all love her very much.

We will be having a Team Weichler group walking for her at the Susan G Komen breast cancer walk in Bensalem PA on May 14th at 9:30AM.
