UPDATE 6/12/24 We meet with the lawyer today. He thinks we have a good chance saving Rosie. We have witness to testify that Rosie is not a vicious dog. So we go to court 6/18. Please pray it works out in our favor. Thank you to everyone that has helped. Please keep sharing this. Hello, My name is Sherry. I'm trying to save my baby Rosie's life. On March 16th Rosie was in our front yard with her puppies playing. She jumped the fence and bite another dog which we take full blame for. We have paid the vet bill for the other dog. But we had to go to court yesterday and they ordered her to be put down. Rosie is 6 years old and never done anything like this. She plays with other dogs cats and Ferrets. They could have ordered us to have a muzzle and a 6foot leash on her anytime she is outside of the yard. But the owner of the other dog requested for her to be put down. We have a 6ft fence in the back yard where Rosie goes when she's outside but on this day we let her out in our front yard that has a 3ft fence. We appealed the order and have to get a lawyer to try and help prove she is not a vicious dog. Which she is not. Rosie is a very sweet girl and made a bad mistake but does not deserve to die. The dog catcher that came out and met Rosie and per her and knows she's not a dad girl wasn't even in court. We found a lawyer but have to put the money up front to retain him. He seems to think we can save her. So im asking for help to raise the money to save my girl. If you would like to help we would really appreciate it. Thank you for taking the time to read my page.
