Support Shianne Dean recover from brain surgery
Donation protected
On Friday, May 3, 2019, Shianne Dean was struck by an alleged impaired driver after getting off of the school bus with her 9-year-old sister. Shianne is a loving, vibrant and beautiful 11-year-old girl who enjoys dancing, arts and crafts and recently received her yellow belt in karate. Shianne, who is in the 5th grade, was so excited to go home on Friday to share the news with her mother (LaTonya Williams) that she passed her MCA test. Shianne unfortunately never made it home. Since this horrific event took place, Shianne has undergone two brain surgeries and has yet to wake up from a coma.
Any monetary contributions and support would be much appreciated from Shianne's family as they continue on this very long road to recovery. These generous donations will help with any and all costly medical bills that arise. The charitable aid will also support emotional therapy sessions for her younger sister, who witnessed this traumatizing accident.
Shianne's family would like to thank everyone for your love, support and consistent prayers. We pray that Shianne will make a full and speedy recovery.
Thank you.
**UPDATE** 11/03/2019:
Shianne and her family are now living in Rayville, Louisiana where she is continuing her recovery process. Shianne and her sister are attending a new school and are doing great. She is still attending weekly physical therapy sessions and often times suffers with excruciating headaches and dizziness. We are so proud of her for all of her hard work and progress on this very long road to recovery. She is a fighter!
Once again, Shianne's family is so very thankful for the outpour of love, support and prayer that everyone has shown them during this very hard time.
Here is an updated photo of Shianne since she has been released from the hospital.
