Support Sidney's Fight Against Cancer

First and foremost, thank you for being here and for your support.

The purpose of this page is to build a support fund to cover medical bills and care for my cousin Sidney. Any contributions will help alleviate some of the stress and burden on Sidney and her family as the most important thing Sidney can focus on is fighting cancer.

Sidney is 22 years old and was recently diagnosed with a rare mutation of a grade 4 glioma - brain cancer. This diagnosis came as a complete shock as she had almost no symptoms from a very large brain tumor. A few days after learning of her tumor, she was scheduled for an awake craniotomy (brain surgery) to remove as much of the tumor as possible and she is currently recovering from the procedure.

She has started her first round of chemotherapy and radiation to help her fight the remaining cancer cells and limit regrowth. She has remained extremely positive and brave throughout this entire ordeal which will be important in her fight against this aggressive form of cancer.

It has not been easy for Sidney and our family to share this publicly and ask for help, but no fight is won in isolation and this is a true moment of vulnerability. Again, I thank you for the support, prayers, and words of encouragement throughout this difficult time.
