Support Sigma Alpha Epsilon's Philanthropy Week

The Mount Union Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon is holding their annual Paddy Murphy Week of Philanthropy and Service. This year, we are raising funds to support our charitable initiatives, and we need your help to make it a success!

One of the highlights of Paddy Murphy Week is our Coffin Painting Competition, where sororities compete to design and paint the best coffin, inspired by the legendary story of Paddy Murphy. The public will vote on their favorite design, and the winning sorority will have all proceeds from this fundraiser donated to their philanthropy!

Throughout the week, we will be hosting a variety of events to give back:

Tuesday, April 8 – Ticket for baskets in support of NMDP

We are raising money for the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) by selling tickets for a chance to win an amazing basket. Your donation helps patients in need of life-saving transplants.

Wednesday, April 9 – Helping the Alliance Community

We’ll be volunteering in the local community, giving our time and effort to assist those in need.

Thursday, April 10 – Tie Blankets for the Needy

As a chapter, we’re making tie blankets to donate to shelters, ensuring warmth and comfort for those facing hardships.

Friday, April 11 – Cookout & Coffin Contest

To close out the week, we’ll host a huge cookout where we will sell wings and basket tickets and announce the winning sorority of the coffin painting contest and write what will hopefully be a vrey large check to their charity.

Your donations will go directly to fund our service projects, materials for blanket-making, and our charitable contributions. Plus, by donating, you're also supporting a sorority’s cause, helping them make an impact in their own philanthropic efforts!
