Support Sije's Journey to Recovery

Hello everyone,

Today, I’m sharing a cause that holds great meaning and has the potential to make a real difference. I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of Sije, someone who has struggled with addiction and is now working incredibly hard to turn her life around. Over the past few months, I’ve witnessed Sije’s strength, perseverance, and commitment to her recovery. It hasn’t been easy, but every day she is taking steps to build a better future for herself.

Many of you have shown love and support for her already, and I know that your continued kindness will make a real difference in her journey. This GoFundMe is specifically to help her cover essential needs as she continues to rebuild. She is unable to work for the next few months, and this support will provide her with the resources she needs to focus fully on her healing.

Hey everyone,

This is Sije. I’m writing to you from the treatment center, where I’ve been for almost two months now. Things are going really well, and I’m feeling healthier and more motivated every day in my recovery. While this journey has been incredibly challenging, I am fully committed to the process of change, and each day brings me closer to rebuilding my life.

I want to start by acknowledging the incredible support I’ve already received. The donations made in my name from the first GoFundMe helped me secure necessities for my room, meals, and even an electric bicycle when I got off the streets. That bicycle has been a game-changer—it's given me the freedom to regain my independence in ways I never thought possible. I am so grateful for the kindness and compassion shown to me during such a dark time in my life. Your support has made a profound impact, and I will never take it for granted.

I also want to take a moment to say that I read through many of the comments from the first video, and I was deeply moved by the overwhelming kindness, compassion, and well-wishes. Knowing that so many people care about my journey means more to me than words can express—it’s what keeps me going.

As I continue to focus on my recovery, I find myself in need of more support. I’m unable to work for the next few months, and I’m asking for help to cover basic living expenses and the major dental work I need. Some of the work is covered by the program I am in, but not all of it. This dental work is critical, but it’s something I cannot afford on my own right now. I will also be able to invest in additional art supplies as painting and drawing is something I have become very passionate about and plays a huge role in my recovery at this time. Your generous donations will allow me to take care of these essential needs as I continue to rebuild my life, step by step.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, would mean the world to me. Your support will go directly to my healing and my fresh start—it’s a chance for me to move forward with hope and strength, something I could never do without the kindness and belief you’ve already shown me.
