Support Silvia and Don After Eaton Fire Loss
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and strangers,
This fundraiser has been started on behalf of the Riley-Gallon family, who lost their family home in the Eaton Fire that ravaged Altadena and Pasadena this week.
They had to evacuate with very few personal belongings as the evacuation warning was sudden, and no one could have imagined the devastation these fires would bring. They lost absolutely everything in the home - family photos, keepsakes, decades of memories.
Silvia and Don have been a part of the Altadena and Pasadena community for 40+ years. Don is a professor of criminal justice at the Pasadena Community College after a lifetime of service on the Pasadena Police force. They have been like second parents to many of our friends over the years - they are always the people to go the extra mile for friends and family in need.
The fires have reduced their home down to ashes, and there are many unexpected costs to cover as they find temporary shelter and begin to rebuild their lives and home. Silvia and Don are some of the most generous people and are now needing the support of the community they've helped to build as they deal with this tragedy.
Thank you in advance for your contributions.
With love and appreciation,
The Friends of the Riley-Gallons.
