Support Simiyas Equine Services for Hug Detroit Day

Dear Friends,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Sky Covington, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of Simiyas Equine Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting equine activities and education within our community. We are thrilled to announce our participation in this year’s 12th Annual Hug Detroit Day Block Party, taking place on August 25th from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Hug Detroit Day is a vibrant community event that includes hugs, music, a magician, various shows, and notably, our equestrian horse show, The Soul Equestrian Horse Show 2024. This event promises to be a fantastic day of fun, gift-giving, and meaningful interactions for families and children.

To make our participation possible, we are raising $15,000 to cover the following costs:

- Transportation of our horses to the event

- Setup and teardown of horse show equipment

- Provision of backpacks and uniforms for the children participating in the event

Your generous contribution will help ensure that we can deliver a memorable and educational experience for all attendees, particularly the children who will benefit from the hands-on interaction with our horses. Your support will also help foster a sense of community and joy at this year’s Hug Detroit Day.

Simiyas Equine Services, established on August 21, 2023, operates under the public charity status 170 B1 (A)(VI) with an effective date of exemption on May 9, 2003. Contributions to our organization are tax-deductible, and our letter of determination is available upon request.
