Support Single Mom and 3 year old daughter After Car Tragedy
Donation protected
On December 4th, I was driving home from picking up my daughter when my car stalled. I frantically called my mom in tears and was explaining to her how my car suddenly lost power in busy rush hour traffic at a stoplight on Francis and Wall. While I waved traffic to go around, a woman (Stacy) yelled from her car to alert me that my car was catching fire. I sprinted around my car to get my daughter out and was stopped by the locked car door that my 3-year-old daughter was trapped behind. I yelled for help to get her out and ran back around to the driver's side door while my car was on fire to throw myself in the car and unlock her door, and we both made it to safety.
We all watched as my car burst into flames and was left in ruins.
As a single young mother, I couldn’t afford more coverage than liability. I was grateful that we came out unharmed, but now I’m struggling to correct this situation that struck so close to Christmas. It’s been really hard on our household paying for towing and trying to save up to buy a new car while still giving my daughter a wonderful Christmas.
ANY help is more than appreciated in this moment; we could really use a break from all of this. Share, donate, reach out.
My daughter and I really need the help of the community to get through this difficult time.
Stay safe out on the roads, and all praise to God for saving our lives that night.❤️
