Support Single Mom's Fight for Basic Needs

The reason the bill is so high is because she was hit with a $1,450 hook up fee to turn her water back on. Aqua had her on a payment plan and would not negotiate the payment plan where she could pay it. They turned off her water and said she has to pay it all in full, if she wants it back on. The fact that they would not work with her, is why the bill is so high.

Her bill spiked in March/April and then went back to normal in April/May. She is not the only one who saw this unexplained spike and Aqua will not help anyone.

I have created this page for one of my dear friends and her two young children. To keep their identity a secret, as there are young children in the house, I am sharing a picture of mine and my kids' hands.

My friend is a single mother who has no help from the children's father. If you think of superwoman, you can put her picture right next to her. She does it all and she keeps her babies safe, fed, sheltered, and happy. The past 2 weeks she has been struggling silently. I was just informed today, only because I sensed something was wrong and I pried into her personal life and she told me she can't pay her water bill. Her and her two young children have been without for 2 weeks! As you can imagine, her mental health is struggling but her children's mental health is struggling as well.

Her water bill jumped astronomically and with everything going up in price, she was struggling to keep up. Aqua decided they would not keep her on the payment plan any longer and turned her water off. I am asking for the community's help to give only what you can, and maybe we can raise enough money to turn her water back on.
