Asma is a single mother from Gaza who has four beautiful children. She has overcome immense challenges to provide a better future for her children. She was a scholar in the US, working towards her masters degree and she now lives in Belgium where she and her four children are facing life-threatening hardships. Her children are being physically and emotionally abused and Belgian law isn’t helping her much.

She was kicked out of her house by her soon-to-be ex-husband, and thrown in the street with no money or means to a decent life. She can’t see her children because the father is keeping them away from her and she has filed for custody of her children.
