Support SJ's Journey to Recovery

Greetings everyone we've reached day 74 on this incredible journey with SJ. We have endured both challenges and progress along this journey. The ongoing rehab here at TIRR in Houston has been very instrumental in SJ's recovery. He has now adjusted to operating a motorized wheelchair daily as he continues both occupational and physical therapy. We are so very thankful for his positive outlook as he navigates to the next level which is preparing to transition home. The original date of August 30th was put on hold due to complications from a required medication. Thankfully things have improved, and we hope to have a discharge date in the coming week or two.

Unfortunately, the results of this injury have left SJ confined to a wheelchair, however his positive spirit combined with the number of prayers and well-wishers continues to give us hope that a miracle is yet to come. SJ is very excited about his return home and is looking forward to reuniting with his friends at Cobb middle school.
