Support Smily's Fight Against Heart Failure

Smily is a 37-year-old husband and father of three from Selbyville, DE, who has just been diagnosed with end-stage heart failure. He was airlifted from a Delaware hospital to Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. His cardiac team is working diligently to discover why this happened and keep Smily alive. Smily's heart is dangerously enlarged and he is being aided by a temporary mechanical pump. He is functioning at a critical level of only EF 10%, while a normal heart function is EF of 52-72%.

Until now, Smily was healthy and known to help out anyone who needed it and he was just four months into a promising new real estate career. This unexpected situation has turned his entire family of five upside down, and the journey forward will be long, costly, and arduous.

Currently, Smily is in critical condition in the ICU, the medical costs associated with his care are staggering and only increasing by the day. Once home, he will need costly medicine, rehab, and weekly travel will be needed back and forth to Philadelphia for ongoing tests and close monitoring after his fight.

His family also needs to stay afloat while all this is happening.
