Support SoCal News Group Journalists Strike Fund

Southern California News Group journalists authorized an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) strike in its continued efforts to secure a fair and equitable contract.
The SCNG Guild has fought for more than two years to secure a contract that includes liveable wages, and the company has continued to stall and bargain in bad faith to avoid a deal.
Now, we need your support.
Many of us have gone years, some even decades, without raises. By dragging its feet, the company has been keeping wages low for many, while living costs continue to skyrocket.
Enough is enough.
We need to put significant pressure on the company to provide us with a fair pay proposal, but this action will come at a cost for many.
Funds will go directly to members to make up for wages lost during the strike so these journalists can continue to pay for basic needs.
We don’t take this action lightly, but we believe it is necessary to win the salaries needed to afford to live in the communities we cover.
