Support Sonia's Journey: Bone Marrow Transplant

Hi, my name is Sonia. My background is that I am a journalist from New Jersey and Award-winning. My health started with issues of bone marrow failure which developed into two blood disorders aplastic anemia and Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria. And, I have been blood transfusing for over 4 years now. My blood disorder is called, Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria and originally, I had Moderate Severe Aplastic Anemia. I was told by Hematologist at NYU Langone to start Soliris. I got side effects and stopped drug. No doctor told me that I would be blood transfusing from increased severe hemolysis, the destruction of Red Blood Cells. I need donations so that I can travel to Cancer centers for a bone marrow transplant consultation. I am currently on Long Term Disability but I need kindly funding for gas; expenses; food; lodging and medical.
