Support Sophia's Fight Against NF1
Donation protected
As most of you already know, little Sophia has neurofibromatosis, also known as NF1. NF1 is a disease that will present many challenges throughout her life. She was admitted to Children’s Hospital to run tests on her due to not wanting to put weight on legs, weight loss, and being so lethargic.
After running several tests, we found out that she has hydrocephalus and tumor resting on both optic nerves which she will be needing mek inhibitors “chemotherapy” to help subside. Unfortunately this type of tumor is inoperable due to the location. Sophia had surgery to place a shunt to relieve the fluid on her brain. Surgery went well but it will be a long road to go with the chemo and she will need many more tests in the future.
Normally, we are not ones to ask for help but given how things are tough these days with the cost of everything, we could sure use a little bit of help with medical bills that will be popping up in the future. We appreciate everything you can do, and Sophia appreciates it even more. Thank you. We love you all.
