Support Sophies Ed Recovery

My name is Lexie Durkee, daughter to Troy and Lisa, sister to Sophie Durkee.

Sophie recently had a "collapse" in her eating disorder recovery. Madison Children's Hospital is no longer able to provide the long term level of care that is needed for her recovery. That being said, my parents are now her emergency medical transportation to a facility out of state. My mom and dad would do anything to keep their daughter in good health. I would like us to help them, help her. We want Sophie home to finish out her senior year of high school, surrounded by friends and family.

In the near future, my parents will face the heavy expenses of plane tickets, hotels, and medical bills for out of state treatment. They are deeply grateful for the support of friends and family, but find it difficult to ask for help themselves. While they would never want to burden anyone, I wanted to offer the opportunity for those who may be in a position to lend a hand. If you feel moved to contribute in any way, your generosity would be truly appreciated. Of course, your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes are equally valuable during this time.
