Defend our Sanctuary City: Attorney Fund

South Brooklyn Sanctuary is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to empowering immigrants by providing legal guidance and support. Through our pro se clinics, 'Know Your Rights' workshops, and strategic referrals, we help people navigate the complex immigration legal system and combat fears of ICE enforcement and family separation.

Why is this essential? Under the current administration’s aggressive deportation policies, thousands of immigrant families are facing life-altering legal battles without the right to representation. Nearly 60% of immigrants nationwide represent themselves in court.

Our dedicated volunteers have supported over 5,000 people since our inception as a mutual aid effort and, with your help, we can grow our work. Our goal is to raise funds to hire an in-house attorney, who will help us respond more effectively to the rapid policy changes under the Trump administration and help us defend our Sanctuary City.
