Support Sparkle Utila's Wood Shredder Project

Sparkle Utila is a community group dedicated to improving the waste management of the island.

After an extensive study we found that approximately 60% of the islands waste is organic. This provides a huge problem as this waste takes up a considerable amount of space at the dump creating serious issues for the control of the garbage site.

The addition of a wood shredder would allow us to reduce organic waste in the landfill, offer mulch to the community, and also use in the designated composting area we have created at the dump site.
