*Special Agent Jairo Saravia is an 18 year veteran of the Diplomatic Security Service. 

**He was an officer of the New York City and Anaheim CA, Police Departments.

*** SA Saravia was a first responder to the 9/11 terrorist attacks in NYC.  

Below are several links to news reports which give details about SA Saravia’s attempts to prevent the tragedy and warned his superiors about the inadequate security measures in Benghazi resulting  the deaths of Ambassador Stevens and three more American officers in a terrorist attack.

In 2015 as retaliation for his testimony in Congress and  cables and emails which he wrote that showed he warned about the lapses in security, he was placed in an administrative position in Washington DC.  

In December 2019, and two years from retirement, the Department moved to terminate his employment and he was placed on leave without pay status.

I am attempting to raise funds to cover his legal representation against the Department’s retaliatory actions against him.
