Der Film wird voraussichtlich Ende September 2024 fertig und unser Ziel ist es ihn auf nationalen und internationalen Festivals einzureichen, und dafür brauchen wir eure Hilfe:

Der 40-minütige Film ist eine Produktion vom JUNGEN WIENER ENSEMBLE. Wir sind ein unabhängiger Non-Profit-Filmproduktionsverein, der den unabhängigen österreichischen Film und die Diversität österreichischer Künstler:innen fördert. Wir vernetzen Schauspieler:innen, Filmemacher:innen und Künstlerinnen und unterstützen junge Künstler:innen ihre Theater-und Filmprojekte zu realisieren.

MEERESRAUSCH ist eine österreichische Komödie mit surrealen Elementen, die von der Filmförderung Wien (MA7), der Kulturförderung Niederösterreich (Come On) und von der Stadt St.Pölten gefördert wurde und in Wien, Niederösterreich und Kärnten gedreht wurde. Der Film handelt von einem Schlagerfan, der eine gottgleiche Eingebung von seinem Idol Hansy Vordermeer bekommt und dadurch sein bisheriges Leben und seinen Alkoholkonsum in Frage stellt.

We are the JUNGE WIENER ENSEMBLE and we are currently in the post-production of “Meeresrausch”, a movie by Austrian director and screenwriter Helmut Karner.

The film is expected to be finished by the end of September 2024 and our goal is to submit it to national and international festivals, and we need you to help us get there:

The 40-minute movie is a production of the JUNGE WIENER ENSEMBLE (YOUNG VIENNESE ENSEMBLE). We are an independent non-profit film production association that promotes independent Austrian film and the diversity of Austrian artists. We connect actors, filmmakers and artists and support them in realizing their theater and film projects.

MEERESRAUSCH is an Austrian comedy with surreal elements, which was funded by Filmförderung Wien (MA7), Kulturförderung Niederösterreich (Come On) and the City of St. Pölten and was shot in Vienna, Lower Austria and Carinthia. The movie tells the story of a Schlager music fan who receives a divine inspiration from his idol Hansy Vordermeer and decides to change his life.
