Here below are the latest updates of Shreeshwan from 2nd half of the year 2019!
Sreeshwan participated in Catalon Chess Tournament- XXI Obert International Sant Martí 2019 Group A from 13th July to 21st July, 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.
He secured 3rd IM (International Master) Norm and achieved IM Title and became the latest International Master from Telangana state, India.
He is youngest IM from Telangana state at the age of 13 years old.
He is 51 rating points away from 2500 Elo Rating barrier. To become Grand Master, he should cross 2500 Rating once and achieve 3 GM norms in the next Tournaments. He is a step away to become GM.
Thanks to every one for your support and encouragement given to Sreeshwan for achieving his International Master (IM) title in his Chess Career.
Sreeshwan received Bronze Medal in World Youth Under-14 Chess Championship 2019 held at Mumbai from Oct-1st to Oct 12th, 2019. Although he got same match points 8/11 along with RunnerUp, he ranked at 3rd Place based Tie-Break Rules (Opponent Scores they played).
We request you all for spreading these achievements of our beloved IM Sreeshwan and encourage him in passion to become the GM.

Here below are the latest updates of Shreeshwan from start of the year 2019!
1. Achieved his 2nd IM norm in "ROQUETAS DE MAR CHESS FESTIVAL 2019" Spain on 7th Jan 2019 and currently has 2462 ELO rating points. He just need 1 more IM norm to get IM conferred.
2. Sreeshwan participated in ASIAN YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2019 at WASKADUWA, SRILANKA from 1st Apr to 9th Apr, 2019 and bagged three Medals.
-Sreeshwan scored 8/9 points in 9 rounds (7 wins and 2 draws) and secured 1st Place and received the Gold Medal in ASIAN YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2019 (in Under-14 Open Category (CLASSIC)).
-India Team secured 1st Place in Under-14 Open Category (CLASSIC), Sreeshwan received the Team Gold Medal in ASIAN YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2019.
-India Team secured 2nd Runners Up place in Under-14 Open Category (in Rapid format), Sreeshwan received the Team Silver Medal in ASIAN YOUTH RAPID CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2019.
3. To get the remaining 1 IM norm and/or to become GM (3 more GM norms and 140 points) and he has to play more international competitions along with continued training programs and camps.
So this young prodigy is looking for generous help and Financial support/sponsorship from all of you. Please donate and spread the word.
