I'm reaching out today from St. Patrick's Catholic Parish in Chadron, Nebraska, with a heartfelt request and a mission of hope. We are in the final stretch of a sacred journey—a journey to build a new Parish Life Center that will not only serve as the spiritual and communal heart of our faith family for generations to come but will bring our community closer together.

By God's grace and the generosity of many, we've raised $2,925,191.59 of our $3,455,918.69 goal. That leaves just $530,727.10 to go. But here in the rural High Plains of northwest Nebraska, this final amount is more than our small parish and community can raise alone without securing the remaining funding through a long-term compound interest loan. GoFundMe does charge a three percent fee on all donations, but this is an upfront one-time charge with no long-term financial commitment.

Our original building, a shuttered three-story Catholic school, no longer met our needs. We are constructing a new, one-story Parish Life Center—a welcoming, accessible space for parish offices, religious education, parish gatherings, and outreach to our local community.
