Support Stable Internet for Burundi Coding Clubs

Code Your Dreams is excited to partner with Kit-Hub Burundi for the third year in a row, bringing stable internet access to young coders in Burundi! Together, we aim to raise $2,000 to cover a year of Starlink internet for coding clubs in two Burundi locations. With this reliable internet, students will have the resources to access global learning materials, connect with mentors, and develop essential coding and technology skills that can open doors to bright futures.

At Code Your Dreams, we’re dedicated to providing equitable technology education that includes hackathons, school and after-school programs, adult trainings, and comprehensive courses covering everything from introductory coding to app and web development to entrepreneurship. By equipping these students with skills for the digital world, we’re fostering a generation of empowered problem solvers, creative thinkers, and future tech leaders.

Here’s how the costs add up: Each Starlink dish has an initial cost of $400, totaling $800 to set up internet for both locations. The monthly service fee is $50 per dish, which brings the total to $100 per month for both locations. Over 12 months, that comes to $2,000. That means we need $2,000 to cover the full year! And we hope to expand to more coding club locations from there!
