Support Stacey's Fight and Final Wishes

I’m here today to help raise money for my mother, Stacey Cardoza.

As most of you know, my mom has been battling lung cancer for about a year now. Last week, things took a turn for the worse.

Doctors told us last week that the cancer is spreading to my mom’s brain, and that she will have about 3 months to live without treatment and 6 months to live with treatment. The treatment consists of aggressive chemo and radiation. We are going to fight until the end and never give up hope for a miracle.

My mom has a bucket list of a few things she would like to do before it’s her time to join our father in heaven.

She would like to go to a theme park as a family. She would like to see the Grand Canyon. She would like to go to Hawaii and swim with turtles. These are just a few of the things she is interested in doing before it is her time.

I told her I would do my best to fulfill her wishes the best I can. My main goal is to allow my mom live these last months stress free and happy, which has been tough to do so far with our financial situation.

Also, due to my mom not being able to work during this time, her insurance dropped her and we’ve had to pay a lot of her co pays out of pocket and it’s stacked up quite the bill. We have a credit card that we got for my moms cancer treatment that is maxed out right now.
