Support Stacy Johnson: Recovering from Arson Tragedy

Hello! I am Stacy Johnson and have lived in Portland since 2008. I just lost my home to a 2-alarm fire, thankfully nobody was hurt but I lost everything I own. To make matters worse, my home insurance just dropped me 3 weeks ago due to the year the house was built, in 1840. I lost everything I own! I need help. I have nowhere to stay.
The incident was deemed arson at the neighbor's house. Only I live upstairs. I opened the door to the deck, and smoke was rolling out of the neighbor's house. The neighbor's house was consumed by flames and jumped to my deck and roof. There were 77 firefighters on the scene.
My building was a vacant property owned by Portland Initiatives, and I have been running off squatters constantly. The owner knows about it being vacant and the squatter problems. I had been calling the homeowner next door and Metro 311, reporting the vacant property and all the needles and drug paraphernalia in the vacant house. Sadly, they could not demo the property per the permit posted in the window for the last 3 years. If the house had been demolished, this very well would not have happened.
