Disabled Man's Dream Trip with Support Staff

I am a 46-year-old wheelchair user who lives with Friedreich's Ataxia, a progressive genetic disease of the nervous system. The median age of death for someone with this condition is 35. I have therefore decided that I need to start living in the here and now.
To do this, I would like to continue my interest in America. I have a degree in American Studies that I achieved at the Universities of Nottingham and Illinois in the 1990's. A trip to Florida with 2 of my Personal Assistants to care for me, would help me enjoy this experience at the end of May 2024.
I can fund my own trip, but the Local Authority refuses to pay for the travel and accommodation of my two Personal Assistants. I feel that a short break is absolutely essential for my physical and mental wellbeing as it would be my first break away from my daily routine in my adapted home for 14 years.
I am an author of 3 books, the latest being "Dirty Old Town: Wrexham AFC in the Football League 1921-2008". It retails for £18.99 if you would like to buy a copy? It is a time of renewed hope for Wrexham, with 2 new owners and upon the back of a return to League football after 15 seasons in the wilderness.
Here's a link to buy this book from my website and other books I have written: https://nathanleedavies.com/shop/
I am also cycling the distance to Florida (6,836 km), using the hand pedals on my fitness machine in my living room - this will take me about 2 years at 10.4 km per day.
Thank you for taking the time to help make my trip of a lifetime come true, and create memories which will stay with me forever.
