Support Stan Kimball's Battle Against Cancer
Donation protected
As some of you may or may not know, my father Stan Kimball has had a rough few years dealing with health issues. Four years ago he was diagnosed with cancer in his jaw. After a very long and extensive surgery, rehab and radiation he was able to go into remission. Unfortunately, a spot on his tongue was found to be cancerous late last year. He went in again for another major surgery in February to remedy the cancerous tumor. The surgery was a success as far as removing the cancer under his tongue. While his rehabilitation has not been easy this time around, with the surgery effecting his speach due to swelling, it was a surprise when he was held at Dartmouth recently after a routine check up. His cancer is back. It has now spread to his larynx and his throat. The plan going forward is a mix of radiation and chemo. But this cancer is not fully treatable. We can only hope this puts his cancer into remission. This also means that he will no longer be able to work and run his business. His heart and soul. Some of you may not know him but I'm sure someone in your family does. He's run his business, Concord Appliance for fourty plus years. He's probably fixed your parents or grandparents washer, oven, refrigerator or dishwahser! His business, his dream, has to end due to his illness. As a small business owner and a self employed person money is already tight. He needs your help in order to continue paying his bills while he is not able to earn an income. We are in the process of applying for disability and whatever else is available financially for him. But we are hoping that our community can come together and help him out in his time of need. This is going to be a very hard and long road for him. Whatever you can do to help him, even if it's sharing this is so appreachiated. Someone you know may know him! Thank you in advance and I will keep you posted on his health journey.
