Support Stanley’s Volunteer Fire & Ambulance

The Sawtooth Valley Rural Fire Department (SVRFD) volunteers, along with the Stanley Ambulance Volunteers, are having the 47th Annual Fireman’s Ball on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Mountain Village Resort's Velvet Falls Dance Hall in Stanley.

The SVRFD Fireman’s Ball began in the 1970’s as a fundraiser to support our volunteers. Our silent auction has become the highlight of our Ball, thanks to generous donations. The Stanley EMS Volunteers are not funded by local city or state funds. We are solely operated by donations. The proceeds of the Ball are split 50/50 between the SVRFD and the Stanley Ambulance Volunteers. Both entities use these proceeds for much needed equipment, miscellaneous gear and training.

The SVRFD & Stanley Ambulance Volunteers are the Sawtooth Valley’s only local fire department & ambulance service. The closest town is 65 miles from our very rural community. Our volunteer EMS services are the first to respond to any medical calls, car accidents, vehicles in the river, wildland fires, & structure fires. For those of you who can’t attend this year’s event, we appreciate your past support, and we thank you in advance for your support.
