Support Stansberry-Whitaker family after tragic accident

On Saturday, April 5th, Bobby and Shawnte Whitaker were enjoying the beautiful day riding their Harley when another motorcycle entered their lane and hit them. Shawnte and Bobby suffered major trauma to the left side of their body, both requiring left lower limb amputations and multiple surgeries. They are still currently at the trauma 1 hospital, receiving treatments, surgeries, blood products, antibiotics, and so much more. They are being cared for by a wonderful team of doctors and nurses.

Shawnte’s sons, RT (19) and Rylan (17), are trying to work, go to school, and maintain household chores, which includes paying the bills. They spend most of the day at work or school, then head to the hospital where they spend most of the evening and usually get home pretty late to do it all over again. We all thought that losing their dad, Russell to brain cancer 8 years ago would be the hardest thing they would ever go through, but this past week has been a nightmare for the boys.

Our goal for this fundraiser is to make sure all of the bills are paid, provide gas money for the multiple trips to the hospital, and cover future expenses as they arise.
