Help Stephanie Hodges Win Her Brain Tumor Battle
Donation protected
Last November, the Hodges family faced an unexpected and life-changing health crisis. Just a week before Thanksgiving, Stephanie was rushed to the ER after experiencing seizures and spent five days in the ICU at Ascension Seton Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. An MRI and subsequent biopsy revealed she had a glioma—a type of brain tumor—located in her left temporal lobe.
Following this diagnosis, Stephanie was referred to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where, on January 16th, she underwent a nine-hour awake craniotomy. The surgery successfully removed most of the tumor. Her healing journey now continues with six weeks of proton radiation at MD Anderson (March–April), followed by additional treatments throughout 2025.
Through it all, Brian and Stephanie’s three kids are keeping busy with school, sports, and friends, maintaining as much normalcy as possible. The family is deeply grateful for the incredible support from loved ones who have helped with schedules, playdates, and daily life.
Due to Stephanie's ongoing treatments, she is currently unable to work, but hopes to eventually return to her passion as a health and wellness coach once she has recovered.
Funds received through this site will help cover household needs, food, medical expenses, travel costs, and hotel stays as they make frequent trips to Houston. Your prayers, generosity, and kindness mean the world to them.
