Support Steve after having a terrible accident
Donation protected
One of our wonderful local residents, Steve Stenning, has had a very serious accident where he fell off a roof at a job last Wednesday. He has unfortunately broken his back in 4 places, multiple ribs, his pelvis and he has a bleed on the brain, as well as suffering from a cardiac event.
Anyone who knows Steve will agree just how kind and helpful he is. He would go out of his way to help others and we’re hoping Pulborough’s community spirit will shine in his time of need.
Steve went to both of the St. Mary's Primary Schools, the old school by Potts lane and was one of the very first pupils to attend the new school in link lane.
Steve stayed in Pulborough after finishing school and went to work for Mr Alley, the local builder, then branched out for himself to start his own decorating business.
Steve has raised two amazing boys after sadly losing two wonderful wife's, both boys attending local schools, the boys are now 34 and 18.
Steve has a small but very wonderful support system. Azra, who has travelled from Cornwall with her young son to help support Steve and his youngest Son Kai whilst Steve is hospitalised. Unfortunately, Steve’s recovery is going to be a long one and some extra support is very much needed in the meantime.
Anyone who has been through any form of tragedy will understand the fear and worry of having a loved one injured. Worrying about how to pay the bills etc. With Kai’s only support being his dad, we would like to try and support the both of them manage daily life, bills, groceries, fuel to and from the hospital etc. It would be nice to make this difficult time pass as smoothly as possible for them both.
There have been some wonderful people offer to help with running errands etc, which we are incredibly grateful for. So thank you for all the love and support! We really appreciate any form of help in this difficult time.
With Many Thanks,
Tia, Azra & Kai
