Support Steve Solomon's Bone Marrow Transplant

Hello! As some of you may know, and others not. Our dad, Steve Solomon, has to have a bone marrow transplant. He has had a blood disorder for the last 8 years that has progressed to myelofibrosis.

After speaking with the transplant doctor, we estimate that he will start all pre-testing at the end of September/beginning of October. Due to insurance requirements, my dad has to have the transplant done at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. This means my mom will have to take time off of work to be his caregiver and they will have to live in Minnesota for around 4 months.

We want to start collecting money to try and help ease the burden of paying bills, food, medical taxis to and from the hospital, anything that is needed since both of them will be unable to work.

There is talk of hosting a benefit as well. Will post more information at a later time.
