Support Steven's Recovery After Hurricane Helene

Our dear colleague and friend, Steven Back, has suffered unimaginable loss due to the catastrophic flooding brought by Hurricane Helene in Draper, VA and Pulaski Country as a whole. In a matter of hours, everything he worked so hard to build—his home, personal belongings, and sense of security—was swept away by the relentless floodwaters. The destruction left behind is devastating and unprecedented.

With homes wiped out, streets washed away, and neighborhoods unrecognizable, he and his community are reeling from one of the worst natural disasters in its history (the like of which hasn't been seen since World War II). Our colleague is left without the essentials: a place to sleep, clothes to wear, and even the basic tools to rebuild his life.

We cannot imagine the emotional toll he’s going through right now, standing amid the wreckage of his life. But together, we can help him take the first steps toward recovery.
