Help Patti's Family Pay Her Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Ryan, and I created this GoFundMe for my brother Steve and his family. Steve lost his wife, Patti, on September 17th after 17 days in the ICU from a stroke. I am hoping to raise funds for Steve and his three kids to help cover the cost of the hospital fees.

Steve and Patti were married for 27 years and had three beautiful children: Shane, Patrick, and Megan. It's been a challenging time for Steve and the kids to adjust to a life without their wife/mother.

After doing some research, I found that the average ICU stay for patients on a ventilator is over $30k a day. Unfortunately, Patti spent all 17 days on a vent along with expensive tests to help doctors with their diagnoses. Average cost after insurance is $3-5K per day.

I am hoping to help offset the costs that insurance doesn't cover in this difficult time.

If there are any excess funds, they will be applied to Patrick and Megan's college tuition to reduce any financial burden.
