Support Stevie Lynn & The Stock Family

Donation protected

As friends and family of the Stock’s, we wanted to share what they are going through and ask for your help.

Ashley and Ben have 3 beautiful children. Ten-year-old Wes and Seven-year-old Sawyer and their 2 1/2-year-old daughter Stevie. Very recently Stevie began to decline in motor functions, expressed extreme irritability and most recently seemed to struggle with the basic function of walking. Ashley and Ben have been regularly working with doctors and therapists over the past month trying to figure out what was wrong. On Easter Sunday, under the recommendation of their doctor, they admitted Stevie to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles where doctors confirmed their worst fears. They found a large mass on Stevie’s brain.

Stevie was diagnosed with rare brain cancer called DIPG. This cancer has a 0%  survival rate. They have met with several doctors and teams of specialists.  They have explored any and all options and unfortunately, this is their reality. In their own words, they are “shattered, broken, gutted…” We are feeling their pain and can’t begin to understand how to process this.

They plan to bring Stevie home as soon as possible and make her as comfortable as they can in her own bed, with her loving brothers and 2 puppies by her side. This has undoubtedly taken a financial toll on their family already and will continue to as they navigate in-home care which will help to keep her pain free, for the little time she has left. Ashley and Ben want to do everything in their power to help each member of their family get through this unthinkable pain.

Ben and Ashley are advocates for mental and emotional health, especially in children. Utilizing healthcare professionals for both of them as well as Wesley and Sawyer far into the future have become a top priority for their family.

The outpouring of love the Stocks have already felt has been incredible. The far-reaching power of this amazing, young family has blessed so many lives. They have given so much and gone above and beyond for the people in their lives. They have found ways to connect with so many of us through their words and acts of service. They’ve shown up in our lives and helped so many of us feel like we are not alone through our hardships in life.  Whether you know them through work or school or church or maybe you found them through Ashley’s internet and social media presence or are a part of Ashley’s oily family they have had an impact on all of us. It is our turn to show up for them.

We all feel so helpless. We know many of you do too and want a way to help. Alleviating the added financial stresses that are inevitable in situations like these is one thing we can help with. We understand that these can be difficult times for many of us. With the current pandemic, which is complicating things beyond what we could imagine, for all of us, and we appreciate anything you feel you can contribute. Every bit counts.
