Support Stew Baker's Medical Recovery
Donation protected
As many of you may already know, Stew Baker recently had surgery to remove a tumor in his intestines. While the doctors believe that they successfully removed all of the cancer, several post surgery infections have resulted in costly return trips to the hospital. Stew was transferred to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston for additional treatment and Jane is currently commuting back and forth to Boston to be near him.
While Jane and Stew’s health insurance has covered the majority of the costs of the treatment so far, they are facing significant out-of-pocket medical costs due to the deductibles from multiple follow up hospital stays. Additionally, Stew has been unable to work for the past couple of months and is unlikely to return to work for several months.
To address significant medical bills and cover lost income, we have launched this fundraising campaign to help Stew get through this financially precarious period. We are grateful for anything you are able to contribute and no amount is too small. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Grumpy's Pub has also generously donated an afternoon in-person fundraiser for Stew on the afternoon of August 18th. More details to follow!
