Support St.Nicolas Playgroup Taplow

We are a charity run playgroup which receives limited funds from the local authority for children over 3, but unfortunately these funds do not fully cover the cost of each child to attend, leaving us with a deficit to make up or funding gap to cover. In short, this means we are running out of funds to keep operating as a charity, and we need your help!

So why should you help us? Well, we are a wonderful little community playgroup that has been in the heart of Taplow village for the last 47 years! We have provided low cost preschool education for children aged between 2-5 years old since 1976 as we feel every child should have access to early years learning.

Our aim is to promote a happy atmosphere in a safe, secure, and stimulating environment, through independant play, to share and care and most of all to have fun!

We believe children learn best through playing and exploring, so we offer an outdoor learning provision within our setting which consists of Forest School sessions for all children, regardless of financial circumstance. Being outdoors hughly improves mental health and encourages children to be adventurous, creative and safe and creates a lifelong appreciation, awareness and connection with the natural environment.

As we run as a charity, we rely heavily on our fundraising efforts to be able to operate, especially considering the current covid situation that we have just faced. We would really appreciate any donations or sponsorships however small to keep our amazing playgroup running!
