Support the 2024 Stony Brook iGEM Team
Donation protected
We are the 2024 iGEM Team for Stony Brook University. iGEM is an international synthetic biology competition where teams around the world come up with a solution based on synthetic biology to solve one of the world's problems (https://igem.org/). Our project name is miColi, and we plan on engineering E. Coli bacteria as a tool to diagnose non-Hodgkins B-cell lymphoma in people.
Current diagnostic tests for lymphoma are invasive, expensive, and too late, and we want to solve this issue by creating an affordable and accessible test (based on a class of RNA molecules called microRNAs, more on our project homepage). However, we have limited funds and must rely on outside sponsors and donations to complete our project. We greatly appreciate any support in helping us in our endeavors.
