Help Storie Fight for Her Son's Bright Future

Hello cherished friends,

Many of you know Storie from her time spent baking goodies and sharing smiles as a former business owner and member of the Denton community at Golden Boy Coffee before everything fell apart. When horrific events led to the dissolution of her marriage and the tragic loss of her business, she spent years fighting to overcome unprecedented challenges and trauma as a single mother.

We’ve seen so many beautiful communities show up and offer amazing support for former staff members and victims involved with Golden Boy Coffee. Storie and her son are fighting to escape this awful situation for good, so we are reaching out and asking folks to share that love and rally behind this sweet family.

While time has passed, what remains constant is the unrelenting struggle of fighting to protect her young son from the mental and emotional trauma they’ve been enduring as a result. Storie is now faced with having to return to family court to seek justice for her son’s well-being; a decision that no parent willingly chooses unless the circumstances become dire.

On top of the insurmountable legal fees they’re facing, Storie is also responsible for her son’s medical expenses, which include mental health services that are unfortunately not covered by her insurance. Additionally, Storie is having to seek professional treatment for C-PTSD, due to the emotional, financial, psychological, and sexual abuse she suffered throughout her marriage.
