Support striking workers in Texas!

Howdy folks! We, the workers at the Texas Campaign for the Environment, are fighting for a union. Every day, we work to protect our communities from pollution and climate change. But, we never expected we'd have to defend ourselves against a toxic work environment too. We are underpaid and overworked, and we deserve better.

Executive Director Robin Schneider and the board have refused to recognize our union as we've proposed it. Instead, Robin and the Board have fought to exclude certain job titles from the bargaining unit in an attempt to shrink, weaken, and divide the union.

If Robin and the Board don't recognize our union by Feb 6, we will be forced to go on a one-day strike. We expect Robin to push back by choosing not to pay us for that day. Due to our low wages, many workers cannot afford to lose a day of work.
