Please help save the family farm

Hi, I'm Chris

I'm the 3rd generation operating this family farm. With little to no rain in '23 my crop came in less than 50% of average, again in '24 due to weather difficulties I again got about half my normal crop. I have crop insurance however insurance didn't get me near break even I'm left with an $80,000 lose on the books I have been working with the bank to restructure, I struggle with how to keep my family farm alive for even the next couple years. I may very well lose part of the land. I've considered getting a job off the farm but my health concerns and disabilities make that option nearly impossible at this point, and I'm currently caring for my disabled parents which would hinder my ability to work off the farm. Farming is my life it's all I've ever done and it's all I've known. I'm trying my best to hold this family farm together and make my parents and grandparents proud but not doing a great job at it! My parents have helped as much as they can. My failure is not their responsibility! I'm depressed over the real possibility that I may not be farming next year and I'm forced to sell? Please I'm just asking for a little help to get back on track. Thank you, God bless.
