Our friend, Sue "Kahonu" McDermott, has faced incredible medical challenges over the past several years, as you are all aware. This has been the icing on the cake of lifelong medical conditions for her, as she suffers from lupus, a heart condition, and chronic fibromyalgia. She has endured more than a person should have to physically and emotionally, but secretly the most devastating and difficult burden to bare has been on her pocketbook.
