Support Sue's Recovery and Honor David’s Memory

On the evening of Friday, November 29th, my mom, Sue Lawver, and my stepfather, David Collins, were involved in a devastating head-on collision with a drunk driver near Portland, Oregon. Tragically, David lost his life in the crash, and Sue sustained life-threatening injuries.

Sue’s injuries include severe neck and spinal trauma, fractures in both her feet and hands, and bleeding in her brain. She faces a long and grueling road to recovery, including multiple surgeries, extensive rehabilitation, and months—if not years—of healing and therapy. Unfortunately the costs will likely far exceed what insurance will cover due to the extent of her injuries and required recovery.
