UPDATE:

How to contribute to our children’s 529 College Savings account:

Option 1: Contribute to the GoFundMe that was created for their 529 College Savings plan. The total amount received from that account will be divided equally amongst the children’s 529 accounts. https://gofund.me/f6b015e8

Option 2: Venmo directly to me at @Gabriela-Sullivan-2. I can then transfer that donation directly to the kids college savings account, divided as you wish (4-ways or in different amounts for different kids…they are four separate accounts)

Option 3: Visit futurescholar.com/gifts. Click on the option to gift a donation, they explain each way you can do it (online or by mail). You will need their account numbers to gift into it: Adela 2090543, Joaquin 2091047, Santiago 2091048, Gael 2091049. There are four separate accounts so you will have to do four separate gifts.

Option 4: Mail a check made out to Future Scholar with a “letter of instruction” that has their accounts listed and what amount you want to put into each of their accounts. It can be ONE check but please specify how the money should be divided. You will have to list their account numbers on the letter and the memo line of the check: Adela 2090543, Joaquin 2091047, Santiago 2091048, Gael 2091049.

My name is Meghan and I am a long time friend of the Sullivan family. I've created this fundraiser for the Sullivan children in memoriam of their father, Mazeika. If you have followed the "in lieu of flowers" link indicated in his obituary, you are in the right place.

This account is exclusively for the four Sullivan children, ages 14 and under, for their future education. The family has set up a Future Scholar 529 Account where these funds will be deposited. As many of you know, Mazeika was a scientist, a lifelong scholar and a professor. Education for his children was paramount to him and his wife, Gabriela. Contributing in this way for his beloved children is the best way to show your sympathy and support.
