Support Sunnyslope's New Disc Golf Course

AMAZING NEWS! The valley has a new disc golf course coming this summer to Phoenix, AZ!!!

We asked the one and only congresswoman Debra Stark if she would be kind enough to donate some land in District 3 to the community for a family friendly disc golf course that everyone could enjoy and she said YES!!!

We call it "The Sunnyslope Disc Golf Course" located right in the heart of historic Sunnyslope.

This is a unique & quirky 9 hole disc golf course where every hole is different then the last. The course is located in a small, hidden park of sorts called the 10th Street basin wash in North Phoenix and It has a great mix of terrain that's half grass and half desert and has some VERY fun elevation change!

Big thanks to the Chumba Discs who will be raising money and donating all proceeds to baskets/pads for the community without costing taxpayers or the city a single dime. Also a big big thank you to course ambassador Caleb Benjamin Hollett for all of his help and expertise.

So here's the plan:

PHASE 1: in a couple weeks we will start with a "Park Clean Up." A charity group has offered to team up with us disc golfers and help clean up the park one and make it look as pretty as possible. Huge thanks to them!

PHASE 2: Raise funds for 9 disc golf baskets and install them in the park along with 5 alternate pin locations that will allow us to move baskets to different spots.

PHASE 3: Throw an epic party in the park and do a fundraiser/tournament to raise funds for concrete Tpads which have already been approved by the city. ( 13 in total with 4 alternate spots to throw from on back 9 )

PHASE 4: Install Tpads and the community will officially have a brand new disc golf course!
