Support Supplies for Asheville Recovery

Hey guys, you know me, my names Brian. I work in healthcare and well long story boring I try to help people. I’ve been especially blessed this past year or two financially and with the ability to travel, especially to some of our southern states. I have family and friends, fond vacation memories, and many hours logged on these highways. I keep seeing the devastation there, and the craziness around the world, and, well, I can’t sit this one out.

I’ve been recently blessed with being able to buy a pickup truck, and I had planned on being in (Raleigh) North Carolina this weekend anyways, so I’m filling up my truck and taking as much stuff as I can to Statesville, NC where it will then be airlifted into Asheville, which is absolutely devastated right now.

I don’t need any money, I was going to do this alone, and full disclosure this gofundme deposits to me, not to charity. But with me there’s no overhead, not paying anyone. My own gas, stuff I bought at Sam’s club, and every extra penny goes to more supplies.

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not setting up a scam of any kind, I’m just not that type. Basically I’m going to head to Sams, get as much stuff as I can fit in the Santa Cruz, and it’s going to the airport in Statesville NC.

Road trip pics and grocery photos/receipts to follow, again I don’t need the money, but I know I have friends out there with big hearts too, and anyone who wants to chip in, a few dollars or just good vibes, please feel free. It’s going directly to the supplies, any “profit” or leftover money goes straight to making more supply runs this weekend and /or to the volunteers working to load up the planes and helicopters at Statesville NC airport - which will then be airlifted into western NC and Tennessee.

I didn’t go shopping yet, the list of supplies needed changes every few days so planning on going Friday and Saturday, dropping off Friday, Saturday and Sunday if it goes well.
