Supreme Cutz is a proudly minorty-owned barbershop on High Street and King that has been serving the Columbus community for over 16 years.
We have had zero income over the last 3 months as our business was reopening from the COVID-19 stay at home order. Just as Supreme Cutz was gearing up to welcome back customers, George Floyd was murdered. Once again demonstrating the racism that lead to the deaths of Breonna Taylor, Ahmad Arbery, Tyre King, and countless other black americans taken from us too early.
We denounce RACISM of all forms. While the majority of protests over the last few weeks have been peaceful. Unfortunately, our establishment has been vandalized and looted by provocateurs.
Since we've been in business, we have continuously worked to give back to our community by feeding and clothing those in need, and donating our time and money volunteering in conjunction with various organizations such as:
- Columbus City Schools
- Killing is Wack
- Ohio Student Association
- and Barbershop books
We will rebuild and continue to serve our community. To help us cover the damages, restore equipment, and get us back to normal we are hoping to raise $20,000.
We understand that these are trying times for everyone, and we greatly appreciate your contribution. No matter how large or small, it will go a long way.
If you would like to learn more about our business and hours of operations go to our website: https://supremecutz.godaddysites.com/ or follow our owners, Dionne and Emmett on Instagram: <https://www.instagram.com/dionne_supreme/, https://www.instagram.com/esupreme05/>
