Support Suresh's Family After An Unexpected Demise

With great regret and sadness, we share the sudden loss of our dear friend, Mr. Suresh Kumar Thangavel, hereby referred to as Suresh. He passed away last Sunday, the 11th of February 2024, at his residence in Carlingford with no illnesses or symptoms. He was 50 years old, hailed from Mettur, Tamil Nadu, and an employee of Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Suresh is a great human being well known to most people of the Sydney Tamil community. He always followed a healthy diet and was a very active person overall. He loved to play cricket. He is someone who has always been a first hand to help and guide new migrants, colleagues, neighbors and also several community projects with pure heart and spirit to help as much as he can.

Being a coordinator of the 'Indian Folk Group' in Australia, Suresh had an extreme passion for music and art. He always loved to spend time with his collection of musical instruments. He has performed along with his family at several stage programs, including the prestigious ICC Women's T20 Cricket match held here in Sydney in the year 2020.

His sudden demise has shattered the life of his wife who is currently unemployed and two sons who are school-going. His younger son aged 8 years hasn't even been able to completely understand the loss or the situation.

The family did not anticipate this unexpected destiny nor were they prepared for his sudden demise. In such a situation, in order to support the family in performing the funeral or last rituals, and also to ease their financial burden, we kindly request your helping hand.
